Website access arrangements

The Internet is today the largest repository of freedom of information for all users, and users with disabilities in particular. As such, we place great importance on providing equal opportunity for people with disabilities to use the information displayed on the site, and enable a better browsing experience.
We strive to ensure that digital services are accessible to people with disabilities, and therefore many resources have been invested in facilitating the use of the site for people with disabilities, as much as possible, in the belief that every person deserves the right to live in equality, dignity, comfort and independence.

Internet accessibility

The website meets, as far as possible, the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to the Service) Regulations, 2013.
The accessibility adjustments were made in accordance with the recommendations of the Israeli Standard (TI 5568) for accessibility of content on the Internet at AA level and the international WCAG2.0 document.
The site is supported by the most common browsers Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 10+, Safari, Opera, in their latest version.
The site provides a semantic structure for assistive technologies and support for the common usage pattern for operating with a keyboard using the arrow keys, Enter and Esc to exit menus and windows.
For the best browsing experience with screen reading software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.

How does site accessibility work?

This site has an accessibility plugin enabled, which allows the site to adhere to the WCAG 2.1 content accessibility guidelines for Level AA. The software is subject to the manufacturer’s terms of use.
The site has an accessibility menu. Pressing the menu allows you to open the accessibility buttons. After selecting a menu item, wait for the page to load.

Accessibility options in the menu:

• Increasing the site font to different sizes
Contrast adjustments – change the contrast of site colors
• Adapting the site to color blind people
• Change the font to more readable
• Highlighting links on the site
• Displays an alternative description for images
• Declaration of accessibility
• Send accessibility feedback

Enlarge the display on the site:

Surfers who have difficulty seeing and want to enlarge the view on the site, can do so by simultaneously pressing the “Ctrl” and “+” keys (Control and Plus). Each press of these pairs of keys will increase the view, in order to decrease the view, one must press the keys “Ctrl” and “-” (control and minus) at the same time.

Activating the site using a keyboard:

Surfers who have difficulty operating a mouse can browse the site using a keyboard. Pressing the “Tab” key repeatedly will switch between the various links on the page. Simultaneously pressing the “Shift” + “Tab” keys will return the cursor to the previous link. Pressing the “Enter” key will activate the highlighted link.
